Small businesses are the bedrock of any country’s economy. They are the source of livelihoods and provide the products and services we rely on every day. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that there are grants available for all types of businesses.
There are around 30 million small businesses in the United States of America. More than 5,000 government backed grants serve those businesses accounting for more than $20 billion in funding. In addition to government grants there are also plenty offered by private institutions.
Within small business grants, you will find grants that are exclusive to businesses operating in a particular field. For instance, companies working in technological innovation or agriculture may have an easier time finding a grant than others working in a less popular field.
