Eileen Fisher is a fashion designer who started this grant in 2004. Currently, the company offer grants totaling $100,000 per year to ten small businesses owned by women and that are beyond the startup stage. The maximum amount per beneficiary is $10,000. The program is to be re-launched in 2019 with new terms and conditions. When it comes to this grant, businesses need to possess a positive environmental and social impact. For instance, in 2017, Bee Downtown was one of the winning businesses for partnering with local businesses to set up and maintain hives on rooftops to boost pollination in the region and lead to a healthy ecosystem. If your business is more than three years old, then you are eligible for this grant aimed for small businesses owned by women.
