3. Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG)
If you are a low-income college graduate in need of financial aid you can apply for FSEOG. FSEOG falls under federal funding. The Department of Education sponsors these grants. Eligibility is based on family income. Students with greater financial need have a higher chance of receiving the grant. All schools that participates in the program have different deadlines, so it’s important to submit your FAFSA early. FSEOG grants are released once per term or twice per academic year. Beneficiaries receive between $100 to $4000 annually. School financial aid offices administer the grant.
