Even if you have applied for a variety of scholarships and financial aid, there are additional steps you need to take to apply for the Cal-grant. The first step is to certify your GPA. By March 2, you need to file a certified grade point average. For high school seniors, all charter and public high school must upload GPA’s electronically. Students who graduated in previous years will be responsible for submitting their own GPA and you can find the verification form online. Step two – complete the FAFSA or California Dream Application before March 2nd. You can speak with school counselors if you need help filling out your FAFSA or complete the application online.
